With the Framus, Bonfus refined it over countless improvements to create a pack that is reliable and tested for long ultralight adventures. The Framus 48 is built for comfort on multi-day trips where longer food carries and heavier loads require a rigid frame for superior weight transfer. This pack transforms into a go-to for fast and light trips with a removable frame and foam pad to create a durable and even lighter frameless pack. Constructed from some of the most technologically advanced waterproof materials available, it delivers an ideal balance of low weight, durability, and all-conditions performance

Internal Frame - Aluminum frame is designed with a special curvature to form a gap at your back for improved ventilation. Frame is removable to turn this into a frameless pack

Padded Hipbelt with an additional 8mm lumbar padding to improve lower back comfort, stabilize the pack, and prevent sagging. The hipbelt also features 1.5" (3.8cm) webbing with inward pull for a secure fit
- 16 external attachment points for customization and lashing bulky items to the outside of your pack
- Removable foam padding to shed weight or provide comfort as needed
- 3d mesh around the neck enhances comfort for all-day wear
- Comfortable padded shoulder straps lined with breathable 3D spacer mesh
- Large front mesh pocket with extra capacity thanks to fabric folds that extend the pocket's volume
- Two large side pockets big enough to hold two 1L bottles each
- Elastic cords on the side panels and front mesh for securing items
- Reinforced bottom for added durability
- Ice axe loop
- Fully seam taped for added water resistance and seam strength
